"The sound - clear and detailed. Excellent when watching movies late at night - I can play at a pretty low volume and still hear the movie well. The surround sound is not lost even at low volumes unlike the other AVRs I've owned. Still very lively. Bass is also not lost, can still "feel" the movie (a good sub helps here)."
